Privacy Policy

Overview

ProofPay helps users create proof-of-completion records with job details, photos, notes, customer acknowledgments, PDF packets, payment status, and follow-up reminders.

ProofPay is designed to keep proof records under the user's control. The app does not contact clients, send messages, process payments, or upload proof packets automatically.

Information stored in the app

ProofPay may store the following information on the user's device:

• Job and proof record details such as client or property name, service performed, site notes, amounts due, due dates, payment status, and completion notes.
• Photos captured or imported by the user as proof evidence.
• Customer or site contact acknowledgment information, including signer name, signature image, and acknowledgment timestamp.
• Generated proof packet PDFs.
• Local reminder dates and notification identifiers chosen by the user.
• Subscription entitlement status provided by Apple StoreKit.

Local storage

ProofPay stores proof records and related files on the user's device. The current version does not require account login and does not automatically upload proof records, photos, signatures, or PDFs to a ProofPay server.

Photos, camera, and files

ProofPay uses the camera and photo library only when the user chooses to capture or import proof photos. Photos selected or captured by the user become part of the user's saved proof records.

Customer acknowledgment

ProofPay may store a customer or site contact acknowledgment, including a printed signer name, signature image, and timestamp. This information is used to help document that the work record was reviewed.

Notifications

ProofPay uses local notifications only for payment follow-up reminders that the user chooses to schedule. ProofPay does not automatically contact clients or send reminders to anyone else.

Subscriptions and purchases

ProofPay Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. ProofPay does not receive or store payment card details. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple ID account settings.

Sharing and exports

Users may choose to export or share proof packet PDFs. When a user shares a PDF, the user controls where that file is sent.

Children's privacy

ProofPay is intended for service professionals and is not designed for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ProofPay changes. The updated version will be posted at this page.
